Oktoberfest is inspired by hop vines climbing walls and fields of sun-ripened wheat. Oktoberfest harkens to the earthly, hoppy, bubbly smells of fall celebrations in Germany, designed by Karla Overland for the Woodland Garden Collection.
The Curves of the background are constructed as reverse-appliqué, exposing layers of colors. Raw edge appliqué buds and seeds trail along the sweeping curves.
These are no fuss, no clip, no pin curves, easy fusible appliqué, reverse-appliqué, stitch and snip method, create a chenille vine.
